I hate having to write bad reviews. I wish I could say that this restaurant is excellent, that their food is of great quality,... that their service objective is to ensure customers satisfaction, and so on. Unfortunately is the opposite in all those pointand more. And I don't think the owners or management care. But, that is the trance among business these days; they prefer tosave a penny at the cost of loosing customers. We have been twice to this restaurant. This second time we reluctantly agreebecause it was the group's choice. At the end the group agreed: we should've gone somewhere else! Not only they mess up ourorder, but the ribeye was so tough that we had to point it out to the server. To which the server reply with an unemotional'sorry,' period. We love this place and have been coming here for special occasions since 1992. Ownership has since changed but everything feels... just the same. You still get a bottle of house red wine on the table for free and enough food to possibly feed an army. This isnot an in-and-out meal out. It's an experience. We usually spend a couple of hours when we go. I like to bring a handful offriends with me when I go, so we can all pick a different entree and share. Everything is served family style, and the number ofsides you get is jaw-dropping for first-timers. My favorite sides are the vegetable soup and the beans. The salad is made with ahouse dressing you cam buy to take home. As far as entrees go, the shrimp is my top pick when available. I also enjoy the primerib, the pork chops and the New York steak.
