New Ownership serves a lot of "positive" vibes & hype. However, the quality doesn't quite back it up. What made the "Carlock's"... name is desperately lacking since the change. I suppose if you're an out of towner or new to the area, there really aren't anybetter options for you. Pictures don?t do this cake justice. Our wedding was 08/20/2022 at our home in Los Osos. We ordered a two-tier (small) wedding... cake; gluten free pumpkin with blue and purple icing flowers. We also ordered a half sheet of lemon squares, gluten free magicbars, and lots of macaroons. Wow! Our dessert table was filled with delicious treats that our guests adored. NEW OWNERS as of Sept. 2021, I just found this out now being July 2022 and I'M BACK! It was the husband and wife team working... and I especially like their bread choices and prices! A changing variety from $4-$6 and they'll slice it if you ask.Cranberrypecan and olive rosemary to name a couple, great flavor and a good size loaf too . What's up with our other local bakerscharging double that?! The couple is very friendly and polite unlike the former owners and that's what has kept me from goingback. All the prices have remained very fair and the variety is good and the product looks better than ever. A nice big portionof bread pudding has my name on it for 4 bucks next time I go in.
