Kerns likes to think they invented derby pie and every variation of it and will go so far as to sue folks who put a recipe for... chocolate walnut or chocolate pecan pie up online. They can?t tolerate the thought that anyone else could make their dessert. And with good reason! Their take on Derby Pie is by far the blandest, driest version out there. They can?t compete with anyonefairly, so they choose to compete with constant litigation. This year you should get your derby pies from somewhere else. Anywhere will be better then Kerns. Read more
