10/24/2022 Todays Special Blackened Cod was absolutely phenomenal! Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and flakey. I normally wouldn't... like grits, But Damn! The Cheese bacon grits were mouth watering! This restraunt has Amazing food with diverse cultural menu options. The wating staff and other staff gave top notch service. You... will not go thirty, I think the longest my glass was empty, through serval drinks, was 2 minutes. Lasagna was one of the bestI've ever had. The crawfish linguine had a very unquie twist (frank's red hot's creme sauce). The pizza I had was a very unquiegoat cheese vegtable pizza with emaculate crust. The Vibe was very relaxed and comfortable. My favorite part by far was thedessert, we shared the house bread pudding with a bourbon vanilla cream sauce. Let me tell you I had to take about 30 secondswith my eyes closed to comprehend what this dessert was doing to my taste buds. I was absolutely flabbergasted with the joy ofdeliciousness with a perfect bread pudding texture. Side note the bathroom was clean and had actual working motion sensors(which is rare). Today I took my daughters out to lunch to celebrate school starting up and this place was recommended by a friend. We ordered... the Chicago style pizza and the short rib pizza, it was taco Tuesday so we ordered that too...Just because! I've been to Chicagoand had authentic pizza and it's close but no cigar, the sauce taste like it's straight out of a can and if you can believe it,the pizza had almost to much cheese. Lets move on the short rib pizza, we loved it and I would order that again in a heart beat.The tacos were good as well. So then we seen some people sitting near us order dessert, so guess what we did... We ordered oneto split it was really good, you can tell it was freshly made. Great Cajun/Creole spot, off of Shelbyville Road, quaint neighborhood spot. Plenty of parking, great variety on the menu,... friendly service, & pleasant ambience. I chose the pick 3 combo: crawfish ettoffe, red beans & rice, and gumbo, served withdirty rice. Great serving size, well seasoned, included toasted buttered garlic foccacia. Add a NOLA cocktail to the mix andit's a wrap. Loved the vibe and attentive service.
