Mayan Cafe was awesome from start to finish. I had the juice of the day (beets, etc) for $8 to start. Their soup special was a... super creamy coconut milk/ squash/ shrimp bisque for $10 that didn’t disappoint. Everyone who recommended Mayan Cafe told meto get the Lima beans which were the side for the incredible cochinita pibil ($26.00) . The Lima beans and the pork both wereextremely flavorful. Went for a celebration dinner and ordered several entrees family style to share with the table. Everything we ordered was... delicious and the meats were excellent quality and beautifully cooked. Great experience at Mayan Cafe. We sat outside, which was really nice given how dense it is inside the restaurant. Food was... good, nothing spectacular. Everything was really beautiful and service was good as well. I will say that the food was pretty,but didn’t taste as great as it looked visually. Chips were amazing and the most unique “dish” we tried. The appetizerswere a bit small for the prices. The entrees were decent.
