Delicious and inexpensive. Reading through the reviews, it seems like a ton of Karens upset that they had to wait for their food... and pay for extra condiments. My boyfriend & I have never had a bad experience here! Their green chili is so delicious, too. Read more
Santiago's has gone cheap. I was just served a smaller than usual burrito with nasty dry beef and skimpy condiments wrapped in a... hard tortilla. Apparently, they are not making enough money and think cheating their customers out of their once generous anddelicious menu items is the way to solve their problems. I will never go to any of the restaurants ever again. As a side note tothe manager I talked to, you should let your owner know that going cheap loses customers, raises your prices, don't lower yourstandards. Nasty, bland and not at all eatable!! First time trying this place out! I was craving a taco salad and my husband wanted some... street tacos!! We ordered to go and needless to say we won?t be back. The taco salad consisted of tortilla chips, lots ofrefried beans, some hamburger, lots of lettuce, and some shredded cheese. A tasteless mound of I don?t know what! Straight fromthe Sysco truck. It took them 15-25 minutes to get me my food. Basic stuff. 2 beef tacos. A side of chili & a side of tortillas. They realize... they forgot to charge me the .56 cents for the side of tortilla. I tell them I gave them a 1$ tip so they can use that. Another5-10 minutes pass & the 'manager' (child) is at the window asking for the .56 cents so I tell her the same thing. She then wantsto know if I got my change for that & I tell her that the 1$ was their tip & that they can keep the change... she was asking assome measure regarding the .56 cent payment. First, don't hire people who don't understand money... Next, I finally get my food.I go to eat & find that my tacos are not only medium rare (I won't eat MR) , but one of them is only 1/4 full... like more than1/2 of the shell is totally empty... Drive off about 20 minutes away ti my first job sight pulled it out ti ear. It had leaked, partially my fault but no napkins toclean it up and no utensils to eat with.
