The Best Steakhouse in Loveland. We loved our family visit to The Black Steer. Very friendly welcome. Lovely setting and the... menu choice was wide and varied. The Pepper Steak was a signature dish and I enjoyed it immensely. Our server Naomi wasexceptional. Very efficient and very friendly indeed. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was absolutely beautifuland I’m quite sure we will be back again. Highly recommended indeed. Five Stars even! Read more

Our steaks were perfect. My daughter had to get hers cooked a little more which they graciously accommodated. The atmosphere was... delightfully entertaining. Western art abounded. The waitresses were kind to my husband who told them jokes & tried to collectmoney from them while giving the menus back to them!! It was a beautiful evening for my daughter& hubby's 14th weddinganniversary dinner. I do hope we can return soon! Read more

The wait staff and kitchen staff appeared to be severely under staffed (COVID times and all that). My partner and I waited for 5... minutes to be noticed and seated, were given our menus, and then had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come back and take ourorder. One of the drinks we ordered was wrong (they comped it) and my steak was super overcooked even though I asked for it tobe cooked medium. I would have sent it back to the kitchen, but with how the night had been going, it took the waitress 10minutes to come back and check on us, so I didn't wait to send back the overcooked steak. The steak had probably been forgottenabout on the grill and the cooks got distracted with another order. Given the Monday night crowd with what appeared to be onlytwo severs and two people in the kitchen, I really don't blame the staff. However, it was a disappointing first experience for aplace I heard so many good things about. Read more
