i love chilango. i usually will order online for lunch once a week and drive from my office to pick up. the quesadilla is the... bomb and their chorizo tacos are most excellent. the staff is always friendly when you go to pick up. i'm doing a lot ofrestaurant reviews right now because i gig deliveries part time at night so i know what restaurants are good and which ones arehaving problems. and i'm not buying this "staffing problem" excuse because thst's just lame. chilango is a sure bet but you haveto pick up or have it delivered. i do not think they have dining room service. Wouldve gave a 5 but think waiting 40-45min for what you see in photo was excessive. Its a order at counter & take number to... seat place. Salsa bar is a couple dollars but chip refills free & salsa very good. Tried spicy jalapeno margarita & so good.Place was busy but not all seats filled & no wait at door. I've been to A REAL chilango's establishment. Imagine my disappointment to wait till 11:45 for this EXTREMELY POOR... REPRESENTATION OF MEXICO CITY CUISINE. THIS is appropriation at it's finest. This was nasty, un-seasoned from the rice to thetacos; layered with the obnoxious layers of what one has to assume is cheese. Please consider changing the name because thiswrong. If you know better than do better, and they knew the expectation when one mentions the ACTUAL thing and tried to use adisclaimer.
