The best aspect of this restaurant and bar is the atmosphere and service. Both are top notch. Both are worth a visit. Friendly... and lively. The food, however, has been a mixed experience. The dinner salad with salmon was quite good. The Italian food,ironically, not much. My main complaint was the excess sauce and the fact the the sauce had way too much garlic for my taste.Excessive on both counts. Still worth a third visit in the future, though. Read more
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience here. Our server Tammy C stood out above the rest. She made us feel like her only... table and served us with a smile and laughs. She was very personable and gave us great recommendations. The food was deliciousand very filling. Delicious as always. We hosted a engagement party here and had a blast everyone here was so polite and adaptable to what we... wanted to do. We have eaten here 3 other times besides that for good reason. The food is delicious and priced accordingly withthe large servings nice atmosphere and beautiful displays of yummy food.. the bacon wrapped scallops are a must as an appetizer!And me and my fiance have yet to find a dish we haven't liked in our returning visits. Hostess and bartender were great. Waiter was so-so. The table next to us were most likely regular clients as they received most... of his attention. We waited aloooong time to order, get refills, etc. But we were right next to the favorite table. Food wasgood but nothing special. I feel like I could've prepared a better tasting meal at home. The salad and dessert (peanut butterchocolate cake) were the best parts. The meal was good, just nothing special-salmon with linguine tossed with basil(2 pieces)but needed spices. We had pizza and salad and everything was amazing! Everything was fresh and the pizzas had tons of quality toppings. The salad... we had had sausage and pepperoni and was super hearty. I had never had food from The Pomodoro before but I will definitely begoing back. It's higher end food without the higher end price. Read more
