What a gem!! We happened upon this spot. We entered the taproom and experienced what I knew to be the lovely scents of truffle... fries. I knew then we were in the right spot. Excellent beer collection. Lovely cocktails. My Bloody Mary was stuffed withlarge shrimp and pork belly. It was heaven. I went with the pork schnitzel and my companion had a breakfast burrito (it wasSunday around lunchtime and they had a few brunch offerings). The truffle fries were amazing. After smelling them as we enteredI had to have them. We snacked as we waited for our entrees. No need for ketchup on this babies. Perfectly crispy and soflavorful with a dash of aioli and scallions. Excellent beer list. We sampled things and the waitstaff was super friendly. Shemade excellent suggestions too. They had some very unique brews we had never seen, and we get around, so we were impressed. Theyhave happy hour and it looks like they have an outdoor bar with seating for warm days. Love this spot. If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would. So here's the story. We drove down from and arrived late to our accommodations. We... wanted diner as we skipped it to get there. So we looked at what was closest and still open and arrived at 1836 like 930 pm. Thekitchen was closed, we told the story and asked who was open, the cook was like yeah no one, but you know what we have somethings still warm. So he made us an amazing meal after his closing time. If this wasn't enough to make me love this place thefriendly staff amazing food and great atmosphere put over the top. I thank you so much for making us welcome and truly can nottell you how appreciative we are for all you guys did for us. We will remember your hospitality for the rest of our lives. Thankyou. I can't even remotely tell you how amazing this place is! We were welcomed as family and they made us food even though they had... just closed the kitchen. Jason made an amazing plate of BBQ wings, shrimp seviche, and burgers. Bill brought a delectable bananapudding for dessert. Chris makes an awesome Dirty Shirley. It totally made our night. A great restaurant tucked away in Lovettsville. Ample parking behind the place, with both indoor and outdoor seating available.... Loved their menu options and went with the Pittsburgh Steak Salad.....good selection of wine and beers on tap. Got seatedright away, and the service was spot on. The wife wanted her chicken sandwich plain with cheese, and the cook ran out to makesure she just wanted a chicken with cheese and a bun. That's going above and beyond in my book, great job!
