Very few quiet restaurants remain in Lubbock where you can actually converse at the table without glaring televisions and... everyone around you texting. This is what eating out is supposed to be - great food, reasonable prices, ambiance, well-trainedstaff, and in a neighborhood atmosphere. Nothing else in Lubbock like it. Thank you. Read more

I went to Cafe J with a friend for brunch on Saturday. We both ordered the chicken fried steak (me with biscuits and my friend... with waffles). The food came out savory and well portioned!
