I was traveling from Kansas City to Minneapolis and discovered this place! I tell ya what, the country is sleepin on Iowa BBQ!... I had a wonderful experience here! The staff was friendly and efficient, the place is very clean, and the food was absolutelyamazing! I had the burnt ends, Turkey and brisket for meat, all were top notch! What a find in rural Iowa! Having lived in Texas, this was as close as it gets to TX BBQ. The weather was just right to sit... outside at the picnic tables. My wife and I enjoyed every moment. Ribs had a great bite. The brisket was well seasoned andtender to perfection. I was beginning to wonder if I would ever find a decent brisket in Iowa. Looks like my search is over.
