Store section was the biggest treat as always!! So many different gifts to look at for young and old. Around the host stand it... smelled terribly of fish, not pleasant at all. Service was good and server was very friendly! Food was okay. Definitely choosethe grilled chicken strips over the fried, fried had an odd taste. French fries were delicious! Roast beef was tender andflavorful but could have been plated a little nicer didn't look the most appealing. Chicken and dumplings were delicious asalways with plenty of chicken! Read more

Nice homey feel to meal. Had to ask for things but server was cheerful. Chicken pot pie was a bit salty and light in filling.... Shallow dish mostly gravy and crust. Maybe one carrot. One dark brown potato chunk looked more like mushroom but wasn?t. Chickenwas tender. A few peas. Was able to order gluten free grilled chicken and baked potato for family member. Friendly Mgr came bytable side. Roast beef tender. Cole slaw excellent flavor and we are picky with PA Dutch taste. Very nice tea half half withlemons. This was the worst food we have ever had at Cracker Barrel. We ordered a sampler which comes with meatloaf, ham, and dumplings.... The three sides we chose was Mac n cheese, hash brown casserole, and a salad. The food came before the salad. The salad wasmissing bacon and croutons. They said they were out of them but did not bother to tell us until we asked. The ham was burnt. TheMac n cheese had some burnt/black in it. They said they baked it so it sometimes has some color. Black/burnt is not color. Thehash brown casserole was cold and not in a bowl. It was just thrown on the plate on top of the ham. There were hardly anydumplings in the bowl. We were told it was the normal amount. The biscuits were even browned and almost burnt. My mom and I haveordered this 4-5 times and have never had problems with the food. We were not offered fresh food and not offered a discount. After this visit, I?m not sure we will even be back. It?s a shame too because this was one of our favorite places to eat. Read more

My son picked up our take out order. It was ready at the time promised. The food was really good. I ordered the Coke cake for... dessert. I have attached a picture.
