Pleasantly surprised! Decided to try The Mill for my daughter's birthday after looking at the menu. We always thought it was a... wine bar with snacks. I have three teenagers so never thought to try it. It was a Monday night and the place was very quiet. Ourwaitress was friendly and offered to seat us outside. We sat on their cute back patio and had it to ourselves. They also have afront patio but it was next to the road. The waitress promptly brought us water and answered all our questions. First up was thecharcuterie board. It was a nice selection and perfect for the four of us to snack on. Two of us ordered paninis, the TurkeyPesto, and the Orchard Valley. Both were very tasty, but the Orchard Valley was the best with the combination of brie and pear.The other two ordered flatbread pizza. Lots of veggies on the Tuin "Garden" pizza with pesto, Italian cheese blend, mozzarella,and balsamic drizzle. It was like a salad on flatbread. The Margherita was excellent as well except my daughter did not carefor the capers on it. The vinegar flavor was too strong and overtook all the other flavors. This is not made with a red saucewhich was also surprising. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves. There were a lot of kid-friendly options as well as gluten-freesubstitutions. Truly superb food and service. The wife and I stopped here for lunch and were very glad we did. Perfect on all aspects. Nice... outdoor seating and the best French dip I have ever had with creamy horseradish sauce inside the beef. Yum!!???????? Read more
Wonderful food. Great atmosphere. Rosé cider is heavenly. Only problem is that they play country music.
