I wish I didn't live all the way in Indiana, specifically so I could eat here again. The food was absolutely delicious, the... restaurant was more than clean, and the staff was very friendly. If I'm the area again I will definitely be eating at RiverValley Inn again. Read more

What a wonderful meal we had at this restaurant. We recently purchased property in the area and we were looking for a place to... have a nice dinner that wasn't 'bar food'. We found it! Calamari was fresh and amazing and I even tried the escargot! Ourdinners, chicken carbonara and chicken parm, were homemade and you could taste the fresh ingredients. Honestly, the biggest turn offs for me about the place would be the dingy, dark, dirty interior, the bizarre, classless plating... techniques, the long wait for mediocre food, and the most disappointing thing unfortunately would be the ?risotto? which justturned out to be a sticky glob of cheese and rice (I honestly didn?t know what I was being served when they brought it to thetable). The staff was quite pleasant, which is why I?m giving the experience two stars, but the food and overall atmosphere isincredibly underwhelming and disappointing despite the overpriced, over hyped menu. Would not recommend; you?re better offmaking a delicious, authentic risotto at home. Read more
