So this is my new favorite restaurant! It's been upsetting not being able to find a real vegan restaurant in the area. And then... I found you guys! The food was great! The service was even better! Not to mention the prices are good too. See you againsoon. Sorry about the plate in the picture with just chocolate on it. Staff is friendly and professional. 80s rock music micro brewery. Food was great. All meatless items. I had the quesadilla... burger and fries and hands down the best meatless dish I've ever eaten. Will be back for the Korean Tacos. Read more
Updated review! Whenever we pass through Rockford, my kids will not let me go through without stopping by Pig Minds. They love... the burgers and fries and those types of offerings. I'm a little bit more of a health nut, and I'm also gluten-free. I wouldgive this place five stars no question, except that I wish there were more options for me especially on the dessert menu (thereare no gluten free desserts.) I will say that I went a little bit of a different route this time, and I got all sides and astarter and I was very happy. I got a side of their beans, which are incredibly deep in flavor and actually special! Don't missthose. I also got the coleslaw, which was delicious, and I tried the blistered peppers for the first time and was blown away.They were so good and I ate the whole order by myself! One last detractor is that if you go on a weekend they are just so busy.I'm not sure how to resolve that, but the wait for a table would have been over an hour. It was windy and cold, so we decided toget takeout and eat it in our car! It took about 20 to 30 minutes to get our order, which was less of a wait time then we weretold it would be. This brewery has great atmosphere, both inside and out. Staff were all very nice and relaxed. The food is 100% plant based and... is the best vegan food I've ever had. Got the Buffalo "chicken" pizza and the Korean BBQ tacos, both great! The beer was alsofantastic, on one sip my partner said he wanted to take home a growler. Definitely would stop by again! The vibe is great here! The food was even better than advertised! So what it is vegan, you wouldn't even notice. Flavors for the... food we really well done. On the other hand there is the beer...to me it was just middle of the road. Nothing really stood tome. I had a flight which included all ten beers on tap which was nice. Read more
