Service and ambiance were wonderful, live jazz guitarist was great. But the food was so bland. The onion soup tasted like water,... porkchop was over cooked, and the wagyu burger was mediocre at best. All for outrageous prices! In the past this has been myfavorite restaurant on the island, but the Grand?s restaurants drastically change summer to summer. This year it fell short. Read more

Service was slow - 10 minutes to be seated, 15 minutes until waitress acknowledged us, 45 minutes to an hour for food to be... brought to our table. Food was cold, medium-well burger was chard on the edges and raw on the inside, grilled chicken came outat least 15 minutes after meal was served. At least we did not get charged for the chicken! I would not recommend thisrestaurant AT ALL. Go down to Main Street and find any place else to eat. Disappointing / expensive experience!!! Table next tous complained to the manager and got meal for free?? Read more

We ate at the Jockey Club (because we were told it was the best restaurant). The server had a constant attitude. The only time... she came to our table was to order the food and bring it to us. She didn?t come to refill our drinks nor to check on us. When weinformed her about a family member's food allergies, she did not seem to care. She was not 100% sure what exactly the membercould eat. She did not even bother to bring the chief to help us determine what could be made specifically for him. We settledon ordering steaks because that was the only meal we believed the family member could eat. Of the three steaks we ordered, oneof them was undercooked (blood was still dripping as you cut through the steak). The two other steaks weren?t tender. When itcame time for the bill, we assumed that the meal plan we had with the Grand Hotel did not apply to this restaurant. Even thoughour reservation for the restaurant was made through the Grand Hotel, the waitress should have known that we had the Meal Planwith Grand Hotel. Since the reservation was booked with Grand Hotel. Or she could have asked if we had the ?Meal Cards.? Becausewe ended up paying four hundred dollars. The Grand Hotel still didn?t call us to refund the money. Even though we told themabout the incident the next day. Even though they promised to have someone call us. Read more
