Fifth time here and I still think it's one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants around the entire metro area. Parking out... front is easy to access and handicap parking makes it accessible to those in need. They have out-door seating for those thatwish to enjoy the outdoors. I?ve had the steak platter, pork tacos, tamales, mole, and couple other dishes, all f them have beenthe best flavor and generous portions. The tacos are gigantic, you will love them!!! The steak was pretty good and cooked toperfection, not much fat but still plenty of taste for your taste buds. The horchata had the right amount of flavor, notoverpowered and super sugary. Wish they had larger cups as once filled with ice there is not much liquid in the cup, either waythis was probable the best horchata I have had in Madison!!! Taco Tuesday has 1.50 tacos (pretty sure) and on Thursdays theyhave tamale special, you must try the tamales at all costs, they are so good. They have a few options for salsa, from mild towild and the chips are warm so I enjoyed some chips and salsa prior to my main dish being delivered There is a high school onthe same block and when school is in session they tend to come here and it gets way full. Not much the owner can do but theparking lot was filthy, seems like some of those customers they have just eat and throw their trash on the floor in the patioarea, the wind blows it around and makes the area look trashy, Very worth checking it out and enjoy some authentic Mexicanfood! El Sabor de Puebla has been our favorite taco place for over 8 years (they previously were located on Williamson St.)!! They... have extremely fast and quality service. We unashamedly & unapologetically go there 1-3 times per week. Whenever we have a hardday, we go and get their delicious dried beef quesadillas and chicken tacos!! They use a lot of food from their farm, so theirfood is ALWAYS super fresh!! We buy their salsa in bulk because it is so good (we actually joke about drinking it)!! I alsohighly recommend their flan; it is the homemade and the very best I've ever had. 5 stars for the food. The mole sauce is a specialty (sweet and smokey) and I'd highly recommend anything on the menu with it. I... will come back for the tamales as those are made fresh regularly. The interior is a bit cramped hence the four stars but don'tlet that stop you from visiting. It is located behind Milo's so look for that and park. Read more
