Great local bar with a nice selection of flavorful food options. Nice and inclusive atmosphere and friendly staff.
Well I'm a executive chef from Minneapolis. I'll tell you how I was treated and let you decide. Showed up at Murphys around 7:... 50 pm for fish fry. We sat down and sever came and ordered drinks and apps. All well so far. Then ordered meal. My girlfriendordered baked fish. They brought out deep fried cod. No problem, everyone makes mistakes. Everyone else was served. So shewaited 12 minutes longer and her baked fish came out undercooked. Took it back to kitchen. Told them to try again. Now it's aproblem. Talked to manager and he gave me every excuse in the book. By the time her 3rd try came out everyone else was doneeating. I asked sever to Comp her meal. But the answer was no. So be very wary of the manager, and cooks. I would have compedthe meal at least and probably there drinks as well. My girlfriend waited almost 30 minutes after everyone else ate to get hermeal. I went there for the first time with some coworkers. The food was fantastic, prices are very reasonable and the service was... better than I anticipated. Our drinks were never empty, the food was done in a short amount of time even though they were a bitbusy during the lunch hour. I've heard their drinks are even better! Read more
