Holiday shakes were scrumptious! Chicken nuggets were fresh and hand breaded. Cheese fries were tasty. Stopped in later that day... for a holiday flavored drink. $5 for a lemonade is rather pricey. They ask for tips but it's no different from any other fastfood place where you do everything for yourself. They don't even bring the food to your table. 10 chicken bites, 1 order ofcheese fries, and 2 regular sized shakes cost over $25. Read more

Workers were friendly and helpful Food is a nice balance of greasy spoon, fast food, and restaurant. And the spicy hot burger... is actually hot.???? I was not a fan of the people waiting for pickup orders standing in front of the registers... But that's aproblem with clientele not the business. In short: I'll go back. Infinitely better than "regular"/"normal" fast food joints. Read more

I wonder - if given only this photo, would burger restaurant goers describe this as what looks like a $8+ sandwich? If I were to... tell that patron that they could add a side of fries to make it $12, and if they would like a soft drink in a paper cup theywould be looking at $16+, would that number sound appropriate? I feel the vibe - Shake Shack is selling the upscale burgerjoint look - bright lighting, high ceilings, fun marketing across the menu - but the reality is that the food doesn?t match theimage from the street or the number on the receipt. The lack of impact from the food was only surpassed by the service. I havea gripe with restaurants that push self ordering through a kiosk, only to ask for a tip prior to tasting your food - let aloneeven speaking with a server. It?s incredibly backwards as it relates to tipping culture - imagine going to a salon and payingfor the service before the haircut. You slap another twenty on the counter and say, ?Thanks, this haircut is going to be great Ihope!? only to leave an hour later in disappointment with the actual result. Read more

Update: this time around the bun held up and the burger was not nearly as salty. This time I went for the double smoke Shack and... the peppers in it add a nice kick. Comparatively, the prices seem a bit higher than other similar fast food burger places thoughit is made fresh and the quality of ingredients seems a bit better. Original: Shake Shack has a relatively limited menu forburgers. The Shack burger was cooked well. The bun doesn't hold up well as it is extremely soft. The burger was extremely salty. The fries were nice and crispy. The lemonade was tart and refreshing. Read more

Decent burger, and pretty darned good cheese fries. I got mine with bacon on top...how does that sound? I like the novelty of... ordering the food ourselves on the computer when you walk in. I got my avocado and more bacon on a burger in a lettuce wrap totake away at least a few of the carbs...but felt a bit stupid because I couldn't resist eating the cheese fries, and then ofcourse the fries my daughter couldn't finish. I'm a big fan of the fries... crispy outside, soft and warm inside. The burger waspretty good also. I'd go back. Read more
