My "women" cave. I been going to this place for at least a decade. Still in love with their scallops!, and other dishes. Lovely... music! I always get the best service from hosts, bartenders, and servers. Everything and everyone are very professional. Cozyatmosphere. Definitely recommend this place, and wish them continues success. A classic supper club experience, so I'm told. Everything from the mains to the wine list is perfected and classic. This place... knows what it does and it does that to the absolute maximum. It's a 1970s steakhouse with all the pretense, expectations, andconcessions that come with that. I enjoyed the Filet au poivre and I couldn't have been happier with it. The only demarcationis that the service was very slow to start and it took a solid 20 minutes to get a cocktail to start dinner. We enjoyed the timeto converse, but it's always better with a drink and the expectation of a place like this is impeccable service. Read more

Absolutely loved this gem straight out of the 70s with wood paneling, antlers, lumber jack saws on the wall, and likely cigar... smoked stained ceilings. First thing you need to know is the portions are outrageously large so even though you want, nay, NEEDeverything be judicious. There will be fresh baked bread you will destroy. And a glass with crudités on skewers reeking of dayslongs ago. They even put the parsley on plates. LOVE IT ALL. The second thing you need to know is that you will start planningyour next visit about 30seconds into reading the menu so take a sip of your cocktail and rest assured that you won?t miss outcuz your going to be back. Oh and third they don?t do online resos (yet another lovely anachronism) so actually call them wellin advance. Read more

Honestly kinda disappointed in this steak house. I ordered fried shrimp and it was gross. It was over coated in batter (with... about an inch of batter on each side) and therefore wasn?t cooked all the way through. The shrimp itself also didn?t have greatflavoring as I tried to eat it without the soggy batter. The fries were very average and as shown in the picture, I don?t knowwhat was in my cocktail sauce. Also not a fan of the random herbs on the plate. This dish was $32 with a salad and I wouldn?teven pay $5 for this soggy shrimp. It looks like a plate I could get at a bar. The reason I?m giving this three stars is thatmy boyfriend got a New York steak and it was very good. He also got French onion soup which was also amazing. The waiter wasalso super friendly and attentive. I also like romantic lighting but this restaurant is actually hard to see in. Very dark andwalking back outside gives you a shock. Overall very disappointed in the lack of quality cooking on my dish. Probably will notbe going back. Read more

Great place. Not disappointed. Steak was hot and tender, (just like my date). She thought it was a great meal. Mine was the... 8oz filet. Hers was the NY strip. Our first time and would go back. Read more
