Menu for Lake Windcrest Golf Club in Magnolia, TX

I write this with sadness because this course means a lot to me. When I was in high school, my family and I moved to lake... windcrest in the early mid 2000?s. Lake Windcrest was known to be a pristine golf club. Always in great shape and a courseeveryone wanted to play. As I got older I joined the club in late 2019. When I joined, the club was in fantastic shape, it wasalways a pleasure to play and I enjoyed it much more than the trail and oaks courses in the woodlands. Since joining, this clubhas gone down hill fast. I joined for pleasure but also for work to entertain clients. Im frankly embarrassed to bring clientsto the course because of the shape it?s in. It?s sad because it was such a beautiful course in the past. Now, your golf cartdies on you 8/10 times leaving you stranded, waiting for a new cart that may or may not work from the barn. You may learn to hityour irons / woods better off uneven surfaces because most the tee boxes are extremely uneven and are in poor condition. Therange balls look to be ancient and half of them are cracked. 80% of the staff seems to have an attitude and disinterested inmaking it a pleasant experience. The overall attractiveness of the course has dwindled from years past. You used to go on thatcourse and say wow. Now you go on the course and say, how am I paying $500 a month for this? I don?t know who runs the show nowbut I sure hope they do something about the quality of this golf course and bring it back to life. As of now I have littlemotivation to play it and am re thinking keeping my membership. Hope things change soon. ***EDIT 11/22/2022 They have madesignificant upgrades since my last post. They?re taking care of the course more and it?s much more enjoyable being out there. Ihope they get new carts because that?s an issue still. However, I do like how they?re making more of an effort. Had a great time! My first time playing here. Awesome layout. I will be back.

This is by far my favorite golf club in The woodlands area. Perfect layout, lovely fairways, true greens and the Club Corp staff... is the best in the business. I don?t have a lot of time during the week to practice so I looked for an efficient course thatfit my eye and had friendly upscale members. Well I found it. I can park my car, grab my putter and & wedge and walk to thepractice area in 2 minutes. Tee 1 is a 30 second cart ride to the left of the practice green and tee 10 is 2 minutes to theright. The locker rooms and dining area are set up perfectly as well. This course is fun and fair. And You can bite off asmuch as you want to chew. Believe it or not, I saw a bald eagle out here and an owl flying across the fairway with a snake inhis talons. Very cool place to unwind and enjoy. Read more

Course is in great shape. Didn't need to hit driver on another of holes. Play this course like target golf. Facilities and snack... bar are great! Read more
