We have been searching for good vegan options in the Peekskill area for quite a while and found this gem last night. The food... was amazing!! We got sesame cauliflower bites as an appetizer which blew us away!! Huge portions, amazing flavors, crispy andsaucy - so good! The chocolate chip pancakes were delectable and the oyster mushroom tacos were bursting with flavor - healthybut incredibly tasty - you would not even know you?re eating something so healthy. The service was incredible, the staff wassuper friendly and accommodating, and knowledgeable about their plethora of vegan options. We were so stuffed we didn?t even geta chance to try the array or vegan desserts, muffins and cinnamon rolls. Highly recommend!! We will be back every time we?re inthe area! Read more
My favorite restaurant! I have never had a bad meal or a so-so one, everything is absolutely delicious and fresh the hardest... thing is to decide what to eat. First things first, Vegan! Fulll menu (or as complete as I have seen around here) and then options for both (Traditional and... Vegan). I have visited a few times, also with family, have tried a good portion of the menu and overall this is an outstandingoption. The care and atrentions of everyone go out their way to explain and accommodate. Place is spotless clean, decor andambient music very pleasing. The outdoor sitting area is also very appealing, good view of the lake (Mahopac) marina. It goeswithout saying the food ranges from very good to amazing, imho. The best part is that there are so many options for everyone totry, there is a high chance you will find something to delight your taste and cravings (vegan ????). Adding some color to allthis, I come and still visit the city (NYC) and other places out and about, BOK is a true solid option by any standard. Give ita try! Only one observation: the espresso extraction can use some refinement, better crema and tuning ?? PS: I?d like torespect everyone?s opinion but when I see someone issuing a rating (low) without sitting here and experiening the food, thecare, the place, attention and people it is inevitably upsetting, it reduces all to price and that person?s impression ofputting value to others hard work? without even trying!!!
