I recently left a 5 star review on my second visit to Jimmys. My 3rd visit was a little disappointing, if you consider it a... visit. Me and 2 coworkers came in for some quick slices to only find out that we were being told to leave. They said they wereNOT TAKING ANY ORDERS. At 4PM in the afternoon. Just lost 3 customers. Don't waste your time here, head on up Mario's. Theytook out order and served us too. Pizza was much better, and a lot friendlier service. Read more
To the managers- please don't put so much salt in the sauce used for your subs! It was very salty and I noticed that another... review said the same. The pizza is really first rate and the service prompt and friendly. We tried some pasta dishes that were ok, but temperatures... were uneven. The sausage in sauce was dry. So no 5 stars but we will continue to enjoy the pizza! Read more
Terrible. Hadn?t been here in awhile because I remembered the pizza being undercooked and bland. I always give a place a second... try before removing it from future visits. So we had the chicken parm sub, and the spaghetti and meatballs. Wow. 0 for 2. Thesub: pre-cooked breaded chicken strips (Sysco?) tasting of old grease, wayyyy heavily salted, and the sauce was acrid andrevolting. Did not resemble italian food in any manner except , well, it was red sauce. The chicken even had an odd ?crunchy?texture as if it were undercooked-just nasty. I threw it away after 1/4 gone. The spaghetti and meatballs was worse!! If thatwas even POSSIBLE! Rubber ball meatballs that had an odd chemical taste -nothing resembling the flavor of actual italianmeatballs. Similar to those horrible frozen food section rubber balls u tried once when desperate-and threw away. Wait-?andthat?s not all?! The spaghetti was limp and the sauce was just nauseating. Acrid and bitter, with only salt coming through -indroves. How do you screw up marinara that badly? It was so bad it was almost comical. As if they were TRYING to make the worsttasting sauce imaginable. After chucking it in the garbage I had to go back and look what the reviews said. I was shocked tosee some good reviews. Do not understand any negative comments in other reviews. What a gem this place is based on my first time there last night. Used... local flavor coupon and will be coming from Albany when there for busines to order again and again. For the price and largeportions, I cannot think of another place being close to this good.
