We decided to find a nice local diner to eat breakfast, and the Ugly rooster came up on Google maps. The whole diner was very... welcoming and the service was friendly. I had the egg Benedict which was super tasty, the cornbeef hash was also reallyflavoursome. Mum had the pancakes and they were large and fluffy and she really enjoyed them. The waitress was really helpfuland attentive. I would definitely eat her again and I would recommend anyone to give it try, you will not be disappointed. Read more

OK - you need to put this on your must-try list. Open for breakfast and lunch and the food is very good. I had the simple 2... eggs, home fries and rye toast. Added a side of homemade corned beef hash. The eggs were cooked just as expected. Home friescan be "meh" but these were seasoned just perfect to be a great addition. With the large seating area it's fairly easy to get seated and served quickly. The food is good and reasonably priced, I'd like... to try a sweeter option next time but the cup o' Benny is very good and I would definitely recommend! Read more
