If I could give this place 1 star I would. This store has this terrible smell that is just horrendous and just smells like... something is rotting away or spoiled. Not to mention that floors are beyond sticky like ice cream has been spilled all over thefloor and it was half cleaned up. And here?s the kicker I SAW A ROACH crawling on the floor along the board where the ice creamis located! Please avoid this place at all cost! On 8/10 I went in to get ice cream and was excited to go in since I hadn?t been in awhile. Now I know why I haven?t been in... awhile. I was about to change my order because sometimes I?m a bit indecisive and I didn?t know she was already making it. WhenI saw she was making it I said never mind because I didn?t want to waste product and I know I was still going to like what Igot. I could have gone without her and the girl next to her giving me a rude look. They made me feel inconsiderate for almostwanting to change my mind. If I could read their mind based on their look it would have been ?I know this girl is not about tochange her mind, she better not.? THAT WASN?T THE WORST PART. Then the staff all started arguing about someone coming in late totheir shift or something like that because they other one wanted to go home. They are unprofessional and they all need asupervisor to help control them. Also, on their phones and then going to touch the ice cream. Not really sanitary. Please get asupervisor because these are young adults or teenagers that I don?t think understand good customer service. The kids working are incompetent! My husband and I waited for any employee to help us ring up a cake while they helped other... customers after us and never bothered to acknowledge us. I walked in with my daughter yesterday 7/30 around 6 and there were 2 young ladies working (no gloves or masks I understand that... masks aren?t a requirement but when you are reaching so close to the ice cream you should be wearing a mask and definitelygloves touching ppls food). Then 2 young gentlemen walked in from their breaks and neither one washed their hands and one ofthem was either trying to pull his hair out of his face or wiping sweat off his forehead either way neither one washed theirhands or put gloves on and started serving the guests. Even before covid or monkey pox or anything else people working with foodwere required to wash their hands at least and now with everything going on it should be mandatory to wash and wear gloves andmasks while serving food. I used to come there often but stopped because that place isn?t clean no one cleans up the tables andchairs after families leave. There?s dead bugs on the floor, bathrooms are nasty sand they don?t practice safe hygiene manners.That store is ran by teens or super careless young managers. Needless to say we walked out and will not be coming back and it?ssad because I?ve been in Manassas for 17 yrs and have been coming to Cols Stone for yrs. Read more
