My wife and I decided to stop in tonight and try a local restaurant that we had not previously attended. Kubo exceeded... expectations tonight! The cuisine is elevated for this area and the chef has exquisite attention to detail in both flavor andpresentation! Amazing food as always! I recommend the chicken bimbimbap! The decor and general ambiance is also very enjoyable. There are... beautiful live potted plants and piano music playing. This restaurant was a breath of fresh air. Since the COVID pandemic began, restaurant service and the food offered has severely... taken a nose dive. Kubo hands down has the BEST steaks that puts places like Connors and Ruth's Chris to shame. My husband and Icame from Murfreesboro to celebrate his birthday. We started with kimchi and pork gyoza for appetizers. I am not a fan ofkimchi, but my husband convinced me to try it. We were fighting over last bite it was so tasty. They pork gyoza was fantastic!Although the restaurant was out of tomahawk steaks, we were each served 2 inch thick ribeyes. One steak was topped with butterand the other with chimichurri. Let me tell you it was LOVE AT FIRST BITE! The steaks were cooked perfectly, medium rare, anddid not need a knife to cut through. My husband chose bihon noodles and roasted vegetables for his sides, and I chose sauteedmushrooms and a chef salad. Everything was full of flavor, portion sizes were perfect, and service was awesome! We each pairedour meals with a pour of Eagle Rare and sweet teas on the side. As an added bonus, my husband was given his choice ofcomplimentary slice of cake with a candle.
