The Host was a perfect Southern host and made our visit great. Value was excellent. Food was good too.

The cook (I believe his name was Dillon, he's young maybe 18) was super friendly&chatted with us a bit. The waitresses was sweet... as well. The food was delicious. You couldn't have asked for it to better. Read more
What a warm and generous crew working at 1 am, in a freezing diner! The young man cooking was so professional and yet so... friendly and smiling. He turned on the juke box. He offered to put any ingredient into my hash browns. I went with hissuggestion of chopped onions and chopped tomatoes and something else -im so tired I can't remember. The burger was amazing, soflavorful, and the bacon was made fresh, huge thick slices. I have found my new burger take out. (Not that I eat out much, obviously. ) There was another waitress there, and she too was so attentive, and smiling every time she addressed me, it mafeme feel special. She asked if I was enjoying the food, if I needed anything, and when i finally broke down and confessed to her,she empathized with me freezing. As i told her, it was the only thing taking away from my enjoyment of being there. She toowas freezing. I learned that many customers complain of being extremely cold there in the afternoon. I also learned no one wasallowed to adjust the temperature. Hey big boss, you have an American national treasure of a crew there, the idealized, latenight wonder you see WH portrayed to be in some movies. The reliving of memories made in better years- and this 49 year old hasdined in Paris as a resident, in Munich as a Christmas tourist, and waited on 12 tops with unlimited salad and breadsticks - I'mnot an idealist. Fix your AC setpoint. Fix your thermostat so it can work as a thermostat. Big boss can decide the temp,sure, make it untouchable, sure, but a good thermostat, with temp sensors well placed, will adjust the air no matter the crowdor the kitchen fires. sure, lock 71 down, sure, or even 65, but 55 is insane.
