In our visit to Deklan?s, we ordered the ?Chubby Checker Burger? (mushroom Swiss), the ?Sunset Strip? (BLT), french fries &... onion rings. We also had a soda & apple juice. The total for this was approximately $25, which for the quality & portions wereceived, was far too expensive. Either the prices need to come down, or the portions need to come up. The food is bland intaste and lacking in color. This was evident in our meal (lunches) and especially evident in breakfast meals (pictured). Thetheme for Deklan?s is 50?s Car Hop / Diner - however, there is very little that actually brings this theme to life. We weresurprised to be sitting in silence with no music playing and the lack of color from the food extends itself to the restaurantand property. Where are those flashy 50?s colors? Polka dot accents? We were very excited to try this place out and gave it acouple months for them to work out understandable and inevitable ?opening day hiccups? - but it still felt like they weren?tready. The concept was exciting to us, but the execution left much to be desired. Read more
