Great local joint. Don't let the exterior fool you, they have some fresh, delicious seafood inside. Despite being in a strip... mall in the middle of no where (technically Manquin is somewhere), they offer up great service and fresh, fried or broiledseafood, to locals and passers-by. It's a 'no frills' type place that focuses on the food and not the decor, so don't expectanything otherwise. We have family in Richmond and will def be back to this place during future trips. Absolutely great food and service. Menu selections are a great variety and not overwhelming. The daily specials are assorted and... wisely chosen. Crab dip appetizer is a MUST! Good portion sizes. Desserts! I always eat dessert first but after hearing aboutthese desserts I?m savoring it at home. We don?t live around the corner but it?s worth the trip. This past Sunday was my second visit to this restaurant. My first visit was the weekend after valentines day upon which the they... appeared to be under staffed and the staff that was there was overwhelmed. I had to ask for a drink refill 4 times, food tookforever (45 mins) to come to the table and was full of grease. I was not impressed but figured it deserved another shot becausethe first visit was on a busy weekend. I returned yesterday with 3 friends. 3 of us ordered the fried seafood platter and theother the scallop and shrimp pasta bowl. Needless to say the food was no where near as greasy and very good but again it took along time to come out, the sides were all wrong, salad came after the meals and the drink refill came in a to go cup bc by thetime they brought it we were leaving. The woman who brought us our food was nasty when we said we had the wrong sides she stated"I didn't take the order, I am just bringing the food." Maybe she thought we were not aware of the fact a man took our order butwe were and the remark was uncalled for and rude. Needless to say that set the mood for the rest of the meal. All in all thefood is good, a little pricey, the setting is nice but the staff needs some work on customer service. Read more

Loved this place! The atmosphere was great and the servers were awesome. I'm not a fan of seafood, but we came for my dad's... birthday dinner (apparently he comes a lot because they knew him by name ????). I ordered a burger and a sweet potato, both weredelicious. This mom and pop seafood store is a local favorite! They have standard fare, including fish and shell fish, but also feature a... catch of the day. All food is fresh and made to order, and can be cooked to your recommendation. I recommend the rock fish,cooked blackened for a balance of delicate flavors. The all-you-can-eat crab legs are a Saturday treat. For the adventurousdiner, you can try their crab legs when available. Their desserts are amazing. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff is warmand inviting. Outdoor seating is available. If you are traveling on 360, stop by for good seafood at a moderate price. Read more
