I loved everything they had there. Their chicken was so well seasoned, it had so much flavor to it! You even have the option to... get spicy or non spicy chicken. Got jalapeno poppers, and they mix of Cajun and original chicken. The outside was crispy, and the inside was nice and juicy!... Hands down the best chicken and Maple Ridge. Original with seasoned exactly how you'd expect, that home style flavor. I foundthe Cajun season a little bit light, but added a extra delicious taste. Great stuff here and great deals. Our go-to place for fried chicken (haven't tried the fish or the popcorn shrimp, so can't... comment on those). There was a bit of a wait, but this is understandable for rather sought after food. There are many options to choose from.... Everything so far has appeared to be of proper quality to me. The service was great. They forgot to give me a medium fries. Icalled back and Romy gladly offered me a large fries for the inconvenience. Hands down the best tasting fried chicken around.Well, I'd give this a tie with Popeye's Chicken. I'm not sure if this Brownies is affiliated with the Brownies from 30 yearsago. I would guess so. I came from Richmond. An hour drive to here. I will rate this place base by distance. Is it worth coming to try if you aren't... local? Definitely is I got the value pack chicken and fries with coleslaw salad, also Halibut with chips In my opinion, thechickens are worth a try. I like them very much. Base on the sign, the chickens are locally source. The flavour is very homestyle. I got a mix of Original and Cajun. The original flavour has a salt and pepper taste. Not something from Churches. Whilethe texture is firm, not overly cooked. Reminds me of free range chicken. The chicken pieces are smaller than Churches. I'm nota big fan of any French fries nor I eat alot of fish and chips. So I can comment to much on this restaurant. Won't be too fair.But, I would probably skip the fries next time. But the Halibut is not bad. Firm texture, not over cooked. Visited this place in Maple Ridge for the first time. Found out there is only 2 stores..the other is in Mission. Had the 6pcs... meal. I liked the crispy chicken. The seasoning is perfect. Fries and gravy are awesome. Hope they will open a store in Surreywhere I live. Read more
