I grew up with the Bagel Chateau in the 80s. in the early 90s we moved to CO where a good bagel is hard to find. I started... coming back in 2010 and it was EXACTLY as I remembered it. I started bringing my family back every summer and in 2014 I noticedthe bagels were noticeably smaller and tasted slightly different (not bad or anything). Now it's still my favorite breakfastbut very disappointed the bagels shrunk. It is pricey but worth the money. Smaller bagels bring me from 5 to4. *******UPDATE******* I just spent 4 days in Maplewood and it seems the bagels may be back. Each day I went they were justlike they used to be. They don?t have the best bagels in the area but their deli and breakfast stuff is excellent. The combination is great!

Dropped by for a quick bite. I was starving after a very long morning. Plenty of space to sit down and the space was clean. The... prices are fair and comparable to other bagel places.The food itself was good and the people making the food were friendly andkind. The same cannot be said about the cashier. Very rude and literally ruined my appetite to the point that I didn?t even wantto eat anymore and I ended up taking my food to go. Read more
