This place has seriously gone down in reference to quality and portion of food. I was highly disappointed when i ordered the ... salmon bowl with spinach and Kale, Saturday. THE salmon did not taste or look like salmon. The salmon tasted and looked likeTilapia or maybe some other white fish. It was also dry and flavorless. The other day I got HLS Juice Bar & Grill for lunch. Was absolutely disappointed. I got the Grilled Salmon Bowl w/ Honey Jerk... Sauce, Spinach, & Broccoli. For starters the Salmon was SUPER dry, but the amount of Salmon they give you offsets the texture,in a way. The Honey Jerk sauce was, good?!? There were equal, amazing and disgusting, bites as you ate the sauce. Personallywouldn?t order it again as a sauce topping. The Spinach was nearly immaculate. Great flavor. Texture. Seasoning. Everything! Nocomplaints what so ever on the spinach. The broccoli was a combo of steamed and/or baked. My only complaint about the broccoliwas the portion size! In fact, the portion size comparable to the price in general is not worth it at all. I enjoyed HLS, but Iwould not order that same meal again next time. Have been going to HLS since Mecc first opened it. The flavor and soul has defchanged. All in all, if you want a decent tasting, healthy meal, def try out HLS. My last visit the food was great but my recent visit was very disappointing. I walked around looking for a menu only to find a... small one at the cash register that I had to share with another customer. I ordered the Thai Chicken wrap as suggested by thecashier. The wrap was drenched in honey mustard sauce and had a bitter taste. Some parts of the wrap were hot while other partscold. The cashier was friendly and welcoming.
