Service was great but the food was not what we were expecting. We have never had a problem with the quality of a meal before but... tonight it felt like we got the left overs at the end of the night . The Mac and cheese is definitely Kraft mac n cheese you getfrom the box . Went here with family. Store wasn’t too busy. Got a bunch of bread, waiter was nice and attentive. Most of us all ordered... medium rare steaks. When the steaks were done they were charred, and you could tell they hadn’t cleaned the grill. I tried mysteak and found out very quizkly that my steaks and a few others had well done steaks when we asked for medium rare. One t bonewas half medium rare half well done. We didn’t ask them to make a new one because we had already engulfed what little steakswe had. We ended up not eating half of our steaks because it was burnt. I'd had the craving for Chicken Fried Steak for a while, one with good crunch, not soggy and greasy. After a few disappointments... at other restaurants, a friend recommended the TX Roadhouse. We were very pleased with our dinner. Service was good, it wasSunday and they were packed but getting a table for 2 was quick.
