Bear King Brewing not only produces some really good beer and their food is no slouch either. Sometimes breweries/restaurants... aren?t able to get the food/beer qualities on par with each other, but the Monkey Bridge Hefe I had was very good andrefreshing. The food here is exceptional starting with the appetizers of Texas Poutine and Pimento Cheese Spread with grilledciabatta bread to the Carnitas de Cali tacos. The Texas Poutine did not resemble a true Northern version, but the combination offries, braised brisket, ancho cheddar gravy, and pico de gallo would impress anyone from Quebec!!! As for the pimentocheese?total WOW and having it on the grilled bread was an extra treat. The Carnitas tacos were delicious, nice heat, and greatflavors. I also tasted a variety of other dishes served (we had three families dining) and all were delicious. Great service,beer, and food in a great atmosphere. Read more
Okay Beer. Average food. If you sit outdoor there are quite a lot of flies. Clean restrooms. For vegans they have beyond burger... and Veggies tacos. The Mango Habanero wings were heavy on mango so a bit sweetish. Read more

Often creative efforts in beer leans more towards experimental that desirable. Butthat is not the case here. I also appreciate that hops doesn?t dominate their beer. The tyranny of IPA has driven breweries toover hop every beer. Bear King elevates beer and tastefully pushes boundaries of flavor and convention. Don?t over look thefood. Poutine and nachos with brisket are my favorites. Read more
