I've dined at the Pine Cone several times over the years and the food is always well-presented and delicious. This morning I... ordered the French Toast w/bacon and it didn't disappoint, perfectly prepared and lightly sprinkled with powdered sugar on aplate that didn't show any fingerprints from the kitchen. It's the little things that matter. Just before closing I stoppedback for a late lunch. The 1/3lb cheeseburger came with a generous side of chips, pickles and the raw onions I requested. Theywere quick to refill my ice tea as well. They have a friendly & engaging staff that always seem to be cleaning the tables,chairs, floors and countertops. The dining area is peppered with interesting hometown bling and there's an outside dining areafor the folks that enjoy our clean Northwoods air. Highly recommended! Read more
Wonderfully flavored ice cream treats on a warm summer's day. Very good service.
First time visit but it will not be our last. We really enjoyed Pine Cone and it is very nicely decorated inside. Lots of... things to gaze around at and this is a very clean restaurant. The food that both my wife and I had was delicious and there wasa good selection of items offered. Being a pie buff, for desert I decided to try the pie, even knowing that it was nothome-made. I had the coconut cream pie with a scoop of cherry nut ice cream on the side. The best part of the pie was the icecream. There was much to be desired with both the filling and definitely the crust. It looked a lot better than it tasted. Mywife got two different kinds of cookies to go and they were both really good. We would return if in the area again but I wouldstay away from the pie.
