First the good: The marinara sauce is excellent. The place serves quickly, the wait staff is very good. Unfortunately there are... a few items they should address. The Gnocchi was at best OK. they are way too light, have no substance to them and are VERYlarge. The taste was sort of powdered. I was told they don't serve meat, only turkey meatballs and sausage. I would go again,but will only try the pizza. Read more
Arrived at 7:15 and was told a 20-30 minute wait. After an hour of witnessing preferential treatment of what I am assuming are... "regulars" who were allowed to jump the wait list, my family and I were seated at a table inside. Our waitress Amy greeted uswith great enthusiasm and was very friendly. She quickly took our order but to no avail of her own our food took another hour toarrive at our table. Food was average at best and not worth the 2 hour wait. Read more
Absolutely the worst experience ever!! Waited over an hour and a half for our meal. SAVE yourself the aggravation and don?t even... think of coming here. After asking about the extended wait time, the staff even made it a point to ask us if we were locals tosee if it would be worth the trouble to make it right. The owner also never approached us about the whole ordeal as they weretoo to busy playing on their phone. Food was average at most and definitely not worth the wait! Outstanding food- awful takeout service!! Saltwater has literally amazing Italian food, no one can deny that. The chicken... parm, pasta and house salad were all amazing!! Loved it. However, as another reviewer mentioned, the takeout service reallyneeds to be managed and overseen. No one ever called to let us know that our order was ready (as they tell you to wait for), noextra marinara sauce as I had ordered and I asked for a side of rigatoni....they gave us a whole meal with meatballs and chargedus. To sum it up, I would absolutely order from Saltwater again, just double-check it upon arrival and don't wait for them tocall you..... Read more
