This little gem of restaurant is rarely busy and has great grill side fair which we have gone for every time for a few years... since we started going. I came here on Monday morning to have a lunch date with myself. The ambiance was very nice and the customer service was good as... well. Delicious, fresh food and a clean dining space. The food is quite pricey, but it is of a high quality and prepared perfectly. We... had bento boxes and sushi, which were both exceptional. My daughter wanted to come here tonight after dining a few times before. She doesn’t like any of the veggies except the... broccoli. She asked Rebecca, the waitress, if she could just have broccoli and she said “Of course. I can do that for you.”When we got the check, there was a beverage that we didn’t order. That was corrected. However, there was a $1.00 charge forthe broccoli. We weren’t informed by the waitress about an additional charge for less food nor is it on the menu. Whenquestioned, Rebecca stated “it’s the restaurant’s policy, not mine.” My daughter had a few pieces of broccoli/half ofthe vegetables than anyone else, but for more money. That’s crazy! This ridiculous policy should be noted on the menu versesjust automatically included in the total. It’s not about the dollar amount. It’s the principle.
