Popped in on a Sunday, after hiking up the mtn. pretty busy but got a seat at the bar. Florentine Benedict was pretty good!... Should have gotten the American nap. Bartenders were friendly and attentive. Wish they would have sold me one of the IPAglasses, it was groovy. ? Read more

This was my second visit, this time for lunch. I had the French toast while my friend had the chicken and waffles. Both meals... were more than we could eat and were fresh and delicious. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating, bringing us mimosason top of tea and water. The ambience is warm and inviting. The service is always pretty good here. The food is very unique here as well. We were here as a group and it was my second... catered event at this location. The steak was cooked perfectly for me and we even had some more options available for people wholike their steak a little more cooked. The salmon was moist and meaty. I didn't retu the shrimp and grits but it didn't looklike the usual shrimp and grits. The dessert was a banana pudding and it was not anything special. In fact the bananas wereunder-ripe and almost leathery. I'd give it 4.8 if I could, but I don't go to restaurants just for dessert. The atmosphere atthis place is always wonderful though. Read more

We came here for brunch on Sunday and I must say that this place is absolutely delicious. Food is relatively good priced and... lots of homemade fresh items. Had the country fried steak and eggs which was cooked to perfection. My wife had the chickenbiscuits which were amazing as well. Can't beat the $2.50 mimosas on Sunday either.
