This place is really underwhelming. It needs a lot of updating. The food is mediocre at best. The fried chicken they're selling... I don't think is actually chicken. It looks and tastes more like squab, or pigeon, to be precise. The cooks need to learn how tocook mashed potatoes. What comes out is a giant lump of potato-ish stuff. Probably out of a box. Many of the vegetables arestraight out of a can. Someone should teach the cooks how to cook pork chops. They are a mess; hard to identify them as porkchops most of the time. Looks like a hunk of meat overfried and overbattered and shriveled up. The collards are seriouslyovercooked. I don't know if they've been cooking all day or if they're left over from yesterday. I'm sure if you searched therefrigerator you would find a lot of leftovers from the day or week before. Can't understand why so many people are giving greatreviews, because this place is mediocre at best. The servers are very nice and don't miss a beat. But I wish the food couldstand up to a great review. The whole place seems a little unsanitary. The men's room needs the right soap in there with all ofthe sickness going around. It wouldn't hurt to invest in something that was anti bacterial. In reading past reviews, I see thepeople from a year ago saying the same things I have said, and your response was that you were going to improve things. But youdid not. Your orange macaroni is still there along with frozen lettuce, which means it's being reused every day which is veryunsanitary. Just because you're trying to keep costs down doesn't mean that everything should be frozen, like salad. No one doesthat. No one. Why don't you make some noticeable changes to the food? Its appearance, taste, seasoning. There are many seriouschefs you could hire to come out and teach you what to do correctly. I'm willing to bet there are a lot more people dissatisfiedwith what you do, than you know. I've been there 3 or 4 times, and I had the same complaints to my Read more

Mannnnn, I was really looking forward to trying this place after reading some positive reviews and seeing the pictures but it... was pretty awful! Let's go through each item.. The baked whiting was inedible - fishy, super salty, tough, and DRY. The friedchicken was kind of ok I guess. I was able to eat a few bites after drenching it in hot sauce. The mac and cheese was the worstand WEIRDEST I've had in my life. It was sitting in a container halfway filled with orange watery liquid. No flavor, definitely no cheese, and just odd blandness. The greens were cooked properly but bland - they need some ham hock or vinegar orsomething for flavor. Even the coleslaw came half filled with milky water. It was more like colesoup. The dessert was some typeof pudding or cobbler I think. Not sure what it was supposed to be. The only part of the meal that was good was the little sidesalad and the dinner roll. What a bummer. 90% of the meal is in the trash and I'm about to order a second meal from a differentrestaurant! Read more

Cold food, not the first time. NO Response by the owner after complaining. No decent cooking anyways, but tolerated for many... years because of convenience. Not anymore! I'd give NO stars if possible. Love the ladies who work there though. Big A+. Read more

It gets no homeier than this. The customer service is excellent. Very little to choose from. The broccoli salad is the very best... thing I've ever had. A real family feeling. The bathrooms were very clean. Read more
