Called to make a reservation that was a task. Guy who answered took forever and then we asked when a table of 4 could get in is... " what time you available?" Time they had available 6:30. Got there dinner room was over half empty. Service wasn't that great,because our waitress had almost every table there. Took almost 30mins for drink refills of just soda. I have Celiac Disease so Ineed to use extreme caution when eating out. They did well on that. Food wasn't worth the money in my opinion, my steak wasn'tcooked at the correct temperature, my family's sides were horrible and had no flavor. I don't think we will be returninganytime soon. The management and staff are the rudest, snooty, and uncaring that I have ever encountered in my 62 years. I am in the... hospitality business owning and operating many hotels in the midwest, and to be treated this poorly, and ignored is simplyunacceptable. We left long before being seated. Wonderful experience, as always. It has a classic "super club" atmosphere. We were lucky to get a table by the window with a... beautiful view of the Menominee River. Appetizer We had the calamari and duck strips. Both incredibly tender. There was a redAsian sauce with the duck that I loved. Soup/salad Your basic normal soup/salad. I had the white bean chicken soup which wasgood, but I really should have ordered the baked french onion soup. Dinner I had the stuffed jumbo shrimp and my friend had thelarge surf & turf. Both dishes were perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. Great shrimp, lobster, and steak. Pro tip: order the"boursin" for the steak.
