Slammed.... and still an easy online pick up order. A few minutes later than the time estimated, but no issue. I would... utilize this location again most definitely if in the area. It was just too easy. However..... I did not like being profiledas a thief, or something by walking over, and looking at the names on the to go shelf. That prompted a manager to come out, and stand there, and glare at me like I was going to grab food and run out. I just don't know the procedure, there's nosign, and no one offering to help. It's my fault that I forgot that Cracker Barrel doesn't believe in breakfast anymore. It used to be one of the best - no, the... best place to go out for breakfast. But Cracker Barrel no longer respects the egg. After the server ( who was great ) remindedme that Cracker Barrel no longer offers omelets, I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and meats on the side. As you can see, myscrambled eggs came out looking more like the omelet I was told isn't offered. This isn't a location problem. This is a CrackerBarrel problem. I had the exact same experience at another Cracker Barrel in a different state a couple years ago. It's verysad, and there's really no good reason for it that I can see. Please do better Cracker Barrel. Read more

I would like to give a huge virtual hug to Manager Elizabeth, Server Hailey, and everyone at Cracker Barrel in Marion, IL that... made 9/24/2022 successful. This was my first time visiting this particular restaurant. I invited a very dear friend/churchmember (I call her Auntie Yo) to dinner and she asked to eat at Cracker Barrel. Auntie Yo is a warm and generous woman whovolunteers with Alzheimer?s Association in honor of her late mother (Mary F. Johnson) and does a number of other things in thecommunity. When I learned that today she would be speaking at an event for Alzheimer?s and it would have also been her mother?s103rd birthday, I wanted to make sure Auntie Yo was not alone and would feel loved and appreciated. I called Cracker Barrel andspoke to Manager Elizabeth who was immediately willing to help me make sure Auntie Yo felt special and could also celebrate thebirthday of her mother today, affectionately known annually as ?MFJ Day? by Auntie Yo?s family. When we arrived, we were greetedwarmly by the hostess and seated immediately. Our server, Hailey, was super friendly and made sure that our order was perfect. Both of our meals were delicious and we had plenty to bring home. Auntie Yo and I enjoyed our dinner and the delicious chocolatecake we were treated to in honor of MFJ Day. On the drive home and in a text message a little later, Auntie Yo repeated how muchshe really enjoyed the evening. I can really appreciate a restaurant team that will help celebrate the life of a loved one. Nomatter how old you are, you are always somebody?s child. Happy 103rd MFJ Day! If you are ever in Marion, IL, I highly recommendthat you stop by Cracker Barrel for a bite to eat and a little shopping. They have takeout options too. Tell them Kindra Speechsent ya. Read more
