One of the best restaurants in Southern Illinois! I live on the West Coast where there are many Mexican restaurants, but I was... pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem that had perfectly prepared fresh foods with superb ingredients. The shrimp wasgrilled to perfection and everything was fresh, natural and not over salted (which is saying a lot these days). And what apleasant surprise to walk next-door for ice cream and find it has the same owner as the Mexican restaurant ? with all ice creamhand made on the premises with fun flavors like banana coconut, lavender, rose petal and so much more!
