Wow was I pleasantly surprised by this spot as I think it?s new owners and a previous business elsewhere that moved here and... they are doing it right. I popped in quick to try their Jerk Chicken and see what it?s saying and it was authentic and amazingto say the least. I ordered the regular size but I think for a few dollars more I?d get the large next time as it was that goodand even if you don?t finish it, it seems this food will hold very well till later on or the next day if need be. The Chickenwas juicy and well cooked and fell off the bone and had some really nice flavour to it as well. The rice and peas were justright too and the coleslaw was creamy and blended into all the flavours perfectly. That might be one of the top 3 Jerk ChickenDinners I?ve tried in Toronto and that says a lot because I?ve tried many and even in Jamaica as well and this ranks right upthere with the best of them. I also grabbed a Spicy Beef Patty as well and it was nice and flaky and had good flavour as well.I?m sure I?ll be returning again to try some of their other dishes one day since I had a great experience today. Also thegentleman serving at the front was very polite and made you feel welcomed which is always a bonus. Great Jamaican food. First time trying this restaurant. I got a regular jerk chicken dinner, festivals, jerk chicken sandwich... and patty. The portions are good compared to similar restaurants. The food taste great. I recommend visiting and supporting thissmall business. Read more

The platters here are huge, enough to feed someone like me 2 meals. They're generous with the rice and beans, and I would have... liked more coleslaw and chicken because they were so good. The large is worth it for $15, and the lunch special for $8 seemswell worth it too. Chris Jerk is great, and Stacy's is definitely killing it as competition. I'll be coming back for sure. Read more
