It was delicious but overpriced for what itis, although you get nice big chunks of mango which is nice. It's standard mango sagobut with grass jelly. The jelly was firm but also smooth which was nice. Overall, I'm grateful for the oddly late hours ofoperation at Sweet House Desserts. While other businesses are closed, I can still get my dose of Hong Kong desserts. Their menuseems long but they're just variations of the same base so you can't go wrong with any option. The desserts taste fairly good and authentic. Prepare to wait at least half an hour after you place your order because they do... make the dessert fresh. I would say it's worth the wait. I minus 1 star because they are lacking customer service skills. Read more

Sweet House has one of the best Tofu Pudding in-tow n hands down. Consistency is great and hasn't changed in taste. This is... where the 5 star comes in. On the other hand, I believe that others and myself would prefer them to be opened at a earlier time.This would be better for some of us that wants to have this delight at a late afternoon. I love the black sesame filled tang yuans on it's own at this shoppe. The filling is generous and the proportion of the rice... flour wrappung to the filling is just right. The Chinese desserts we've tried from there are also really delicious, though thetang yuans stand out for me. This is just a take out shoppe (as of the date of this review); despite it being in the corner ofan industrial plaza, it was still busy with locals calling ahead and picking up quickly.
