While visiting friends in Marlborough yesterday (03/13/24), they suggested that we go to Steven Anthony's for lunch. They have... gone there often and have brought visitors as well. This visit was an embarrassment for them and a disappointment for me. Themenu offered a "half and half" plate [scallops & clams] with fries, "ONION RINGS" & coleslaw for $31.00 [$2.00 more than theregular clam plate]. The plate arrived with TWO miniature onion rings and only FOUR undersized scallops. When I asked themanager about the onion rings, he said they were meant to be a "garnish", not a side...... BUT for an up charge I could get aside.... I did no bother to mention the lack of scallops which DID NOT constitute a HALF plate. The menu misrepresented the mealand the manager could care less. Our server was a lovely young lady who apologized for something that was not her fault. When inMarlborough again, I will certainly not go back...... Nor will my friends who live there , be recommending that restaurant toanyone else. Read more

Enjoy a dependable and tasty breakfast/brunch here. The waffles are understandably legendary, and the maple sausage is not to be... missed. Totally lacking in pretense, Stephen Anthony delivers where it counts: quality, service and a tasty menu with options tosuit all tastes. I cant wait to come back and try the dinner menu. Read more

One of my favorite go-to places for lunch, especially when the weather allows for outdoor seating. The view of the water and... waterfowl makes a seat by a window a real prize. Love the option to order breakfast outside of normal breakfast hours! Fullbar. Good comfort food options at very reasonable prices. Plenty of free parking. Check-out the shops next door and the gazeboby the water, especially if you're there with kids. Read more
