This place is usually very good. I went last week, took over 30 min for one burrito as a dine in order with almost no customers... inside. Tons of workers, likely prioritizing carry outs? The employee seemed unsure of the menu, I asked him questions and thereply was ?I think so??. The food is a good portion and a good value for the money though. It?s certainly not authentic, butthat?s not the idea. Read more

It is finally happened. I no longer like Border Grill. This is been a long time coming and it I'm bummed this is how I feel. ... This started with the change in ownership a few years back and then closing the Third Street location, which after talking tocurrent and former staff, I learned was not a very popular decision amongst not only the community, but the staff as well. Sincethen, and predating Covid, the food has been consistently inconsistent with regard to quality. They removed the Just Rightselections from the menu. This was perfect for youth with expanding palates and who were a little bit more hungry than what thekids menu could provide. This option also made for a great dinner option for a single person or if you simply wanted a lightermeal. The Border Grill from 25 years ago is what I came to associate with quality taste and presentation, selection, excellentcustomer service, and more. Today's Border Grill makes me think more along the lines of a business trying to stay up withcurrent trends (do we really need Korean Barbecue sauce with our Mexican food?) and has lost sight of what really put them onthe map on a local level. The inside is dirty, there is dust in the vents and on the lights, scuffs on the counter and walls areeasy enough to address, but overall the appearance is maintaining the aesthetic and cleanliness of the inside isn't thatimportant. Last time we visited for take out we had an opportunity to wait 40 minutes due to not one, but two mistakes with ourorders. We were told the delay was because they had a large catering order to prepare. It is understandable that would cause alittle bit of delay. But to announce in earshot of the customers that you were not taking phone orders, that struck me is veryunprofessional. While we waited there were three employees behind the counter just hanging out. Yes, they answered the phoneand attended to the drive-thru window, but not one of them in 40 minutes took the time to walk the floor, Read more

A great place for a quick bite. So tasty and quite a few unique options for both food and drink. Had a supreme burrito and it... was fantastic. The little orange sauce they make is super good Read more

I have gone to this original Border Grill location since it first opened. I?m sad to day my recent experience would indicate... the Border Grill(s) will be closing soon. The beans in my BRC burrito were not cooked. The bathroom was dirty. The indoorentry way looked rough. The staff seemed overwhelmed and it was not busy. The new ownership must not care as much as theoriginal owners/founders who gave up for some reason. Gone is the good food and atmosphere of there business venture. Goodbyeborder grill, it was nice while it lasted?. Read more

Love this place! Their gourmet burrito was amazing the first two times I had it, however the third time it was lacking... guacamole, but it still tasted fabulous. I have always been impressed with this place and is definitely my favorite Mexicanrestaurant. My only complaint is that for our takeout our nachos were dead cold. Other than that I adore this place so much! Read more
