Sad to give it two stars because we?ve been here several times before. Pesto and salad dressing did not taste like olive oil but... a cheap brand of vegetable oil. And the pasta was swimming in it. I wouldn?t recommend the Italian salad unless you don?t mindpaying too much money for ice berg lettuce with a few olives and salami added as an afterthought. Perhaps they were shortstaffed as many places are these days. The young man working there was very polite and did seem very busy. Our previous visitswere always excellent so perhaps this was an ?off? day. Would like to try again but it will be awhile. Read more

This place has the best meatball sub I have ever had in my life. To contextualize, I had the large meatball sandwich one day... with a friend while visiting Marquette after a trail ride. The next day, we got a basic deli sandwich from somewhere I don'tremember at all and then immediately after, went BACK to The Pasta Shop for another meatball sandwich. Two within 24 hours. Andif I lived nearby, that'd probably be my life. It's fluffy, absorbent bread with dozens of meatball chunks drenched in tangymarinara. Just get one and thank me. Read more
This place is amazing. We lived in Chicago for 13 years and never found lasagna this good. Our daughter claims the cheese... ravioli is the best she has had in her life. The sauce is incredible and the portions are generous. It was absolutelydelicious, right down to the garlic bread on the side. There are tables outdoors to enjoy your meal al fresco. We found a gem!
