This place seems unassuming but turned out to be really fun. The 'cafeteria style' of ordering food was kind of neat. They had... gluten free options and I didn't get sick from the gluten free turkey dinner, so that's a huge plus. The meal itself was alittle bland and the fountain water tasted strongly of iron, but not really a big deal. The arcade is in need of repair as maybea third of the machines don't work, but the kids still enjoyed it. There's a small place for the toddlers to play in the diningroom which is awesome, and the attached gift store is actually quite big. Lots of toys, candy, and a huge variety of gifts foreveryone. Didn't get to try the ice cream, but the fudge, nuts, and popcorn from the ice cream shop were all great. It does seema tad run down, but still a really awesome place for the whole family. Read more

My husband and I found this place by accident when Google Maps misguided us on a road trip. But it looked interesting, and the... sign said " World's Best Turkey Sandwich," so we decided to check it out. There's a lot to see here, and the location is justbeautiful. We decided to go through the line and try a turkey sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good, but what was most strikingwas the outstanding attentativeness of the staff who were taking and filling orders for the customers, most of which were seniorto us by a considerable number of years. The way the customers were spoken to and taken care of was ... well, I already said it,but it was outstanding. Very impressive. Read more

The price we paid included a 4 course turkey dinner and live musical/theater which was very enjoyable. There is a separate... dining area for those who aren't interested in the theater aspect. There is a lovely gift shop inside, which included, but notlimited to, home made breads, jellies and jams. There was also an ice cream parlor, an old fashioned arcade and a fudge shop inthe same building. Read more

I was disappointed with the whole ?best turkey sandwich? thing. The restaurant is set up cafeteria style. The food is listed... on a board. They do have quite the variety of turkey sandwiches but when we received our orders, the sandwiches were tiny, especially for the price. The building also houses an ice cream shop and a candy shop. All in all, their reputation may havebeen earned in the past but I would not say that these were the world?s best turkey sandwiches. Read more

A couple of weeks ago was the first time that I'd been to Turkeyville since I was a child. I had been looking forward to... revisiting this place for a long time. And it definitely did not disappoint. The place is located right on a farm off of thehighway. And that's one of the coolest parts about visiting. You get to see all of the old pictures and farming memorabilia fromback in the day. There is also a gift shop and a spot where they sell ice cream and other desserts. As for the dinner, Iordered the turkey dinner, which consisted of turkey, dressing and mashed potatos. It was all smothered in gravy as well. Thequality of the turkey was excellent. It was soft and tender. It was also served with cranberries and cole slaw. The cole slaw isvinegar based by the way. I also took a smoked turkey sandwich home and while it was not too flavorfull, the meat quality, muchlike the dinner, was very good. It is all cafeteria style too. I think that it would be very cool to come here during autumn, when the pumpkin patches and haunted hay rides are happening. And also during Thanksgiving of course would probably be an idealtime to visit. The place seems to have a lot of activities for kids. Overall, this was terrific a experience. The turkey wasgreat and It was also very cool reliving some of my childhood memories. There are quite a few activities and events throughoutthe year that may be worth checking out. This place has more to offer than just a turkey dining experience. Read more
