This is a hit or miss (as it is the only Starbucks and one of the few coffee shops in Marshalltown) depends on how busy Hy vee is and whether or not the employees are training. No offense to the staff, they just need more trained people

Took 30 minutes for two drinks. Highly recommend not starting 4 new people with no one there to train them, one of the gals was playing with her mouth and touching her nose

I love going to my Starbucks!! The workers are always so sweet and try to make conversation even if they are busy and are stressed. They are sure to make your drink how you like it. They are stuck in that little area but are always so joyful and happy. I highly recommend!!

The baristas seemed to be under a lot of stress when I came in as they were in the middle of remodeling but maintained a smile and positive attitude through the whole interaction. My drink took a little longer than usual because they were training new baristas but they apologized and made conversation with me the whole time which felt very welcoming. Highly recommend this Starbucks!!
